The Kyrene Governing Board has approved a 60-day review of Elementary Social Emotional Learning resources. The public review of resources opened on August 19, 2026 and runs through December 2, 2026, allowing teachers, families and the community the opportunity to review all materials under consideration for adoption for the 2027-2028 school year and beyond. During the 60-Day Review, vendors provide recorded presentations, online demo access, and digital materials for review. Families and Community members can view materials and submit a feedback survey on the Elementary Social Emotional Learning Adoption page on the Kyrene website or you can visit a Kyrene Elementary school to request access to these digital resources.

No animals on campus. This policy protects our campus community from safety risks, allergic reactions, and the challenges of facility upkeep. Animals can cause distress to students and staff, trigger severe allergies, and create sanitation concerns in academic buildings. Service animals are warmly welcomed with proper documentation submitted to the front office.

Student Safety

One of our top priorities at Mariposa is student safety. Students should not be arriving before 7:00 a.m. as supervision is not available.

Mariposa School Store

The Mariposa School Store needs your help! We reward our students twice a month with the PBIS school store where they can exchange their Chip's Cheers coupons for prizes. It's a lot of fun, and we can't do it without our awesome parent volunteers!

The first shift is 10:10AM to 11:10AM (1st, Kinder & 2nd grade recess times) and the second shift is 11:10AM to 12:10PM (3rd, 5th & 4th recess times).
